Coat Hanger

Concept

This coat hanger for The Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, Design and Conservation is volumetrically milled from a discarded fir plywood sheet showcasing the beautiful hidden layers of the material. The pattern of the surface mimics drops of water falling and interacting with each other.
The ‘drops’ are also made from fir wood and at the center of the upper piece is placed a mirror.
